Four stations in Indianapolis. This was WLWI's first day on the air.
WTTV, channel 4, was now an independent, since WLWI took away their ABC affiliation. WTTV was licensed to Bloomington (south of Indianapolis) and WLWI was licensed to the capital city.
Interesting to see that WFBM-TV was not scheduling the Tonight Show with Jack Paar, at least in the normal time slot. I do not know if they scheduled it after a midnight (a possibility) or didn't play it at all.
On the Early Show and the Late Show programs I noted that these were movies. Nowadays, the Late Show is the title of the David Letterman show on CBS.
