WAJC-FM was a non-commercial station at Butler University in
Indianapolis. The student run operation was mostly classical music.
WFBM-FM
was the day's "most popular music." All music programming was locally produced
on tape. Basically one continuous 13-minute segment with a commercial and ID
inserted each quarter-hour. Short (3-minute) news headlines at :15 and :45 in
morning and afternoon drive time. Live, low key newscast, time check, then fade
in on the music tape already in progress. Program titles in there for
decoration, it was all the same music...mainly vocals with occasional
instrumentals.
Since WFBM-FM was my favorite station I have no other
knowledge of the others in the market.
